EMBROIDED STRETCH SENSOR

Our textile-technologically manufactured strain sensors are integrated into the fibre-reinforced plastic composite structure during component production. This creates a sensor that is firmly attached to the structure and reliably indicates even the slightest strains.

The embroidered strain sensors offer continuous monitoring of structural loads:

• in the material

• at the assigned fibre level

• permanently

• non-destructively

• cost-effectively.

The electrical measuring principle is resistive, i.e. the elongation of the functional wire is directly detectable as a change in resistance.
